Papers of Margaret W. Fowler Clark [manuscript] 1864, 1942-1980.

Approximately half the papers pertain to the Town Hall-Levy Opera House Foundation and include the constitution, minutes, by-laws, agendas, correspondence, and newsclippings as well as research correspondence and photographs for "The golden age of the performing arts," Clark's book on the Levy. The papers also contain correspondence, research, and writing on early Charlottesville buildings, the James River and Kanawha Canal, Ezra Pound, the Armstead Deer Hunting Club of Virginia, Joseph Jenkins Roberts, Mary Surratt, and Civil War prisons.
